registration a file having presentation on aforesaid
subjects was given to the participants of workshop.
Proceedings
The workshop started at 2:00 PM with the recitation of
Holy Quran by the Mr. Hafiz Arshad, Production Manager
of Mian Muhammad Shafi & Company.
After recitation of Holy Quran,
a brief introduction of workshop and words of welcome
were given by Engineer Majid Hussain. He briefly
outlined the CTP-KT project. After introduction of CTP-KT
project Mr. Majid Hussain gave detail presentation on
the subject “Overview of EMS”. This presentation is
attached in annexure-II. The duration of this
presentation was 40 minutes which started at 2:15 Pm
and ended at 3.05 Pm.
After the presentation of Engineer Majid Hussain, Mr.
Rashid Ahmed started his presentation on “Elements of
EMS” at 3:05 Pm. Mr. Rashid explained in detail about
the elements and environmental policy as well as
environmental aspects and Impacts. This presentation
was ended at 3: 45.
Third presentation of this workshop was given by Mr.
Farhan Ahmad, LEAD Auditor BVQI, on the subject of
“Certification Criteria for EMS”. Mr. Farhan described
about the requirements for the certification of ISO
14001. This presentation is attached in annexure-II.
This presentation was started at 3:45 and 4:30.
