Total 60 participants attended this workshop.  At the time of registration a file having presentation on aforesaid subjects was presented to the participants of workshop.

Proceedings

The workshop started at 2:00 PM with the recitation of the sora-e-Brooj of the Holy Quran by Mr. Nasr-Ul-Islam Usmani, Leather technologist of CTP-KT.

After recitation of Holy Quran, a brief introduction of workshop and words of welcome were given by Mr. Aijaz Ahsan, project manager of the Environmental Management Program PTA (SZ) ES.  He briefly outlined the importance of OH&S measures.  Mr. Aijaz Ahsan also highlighted the importance of CTP-KT project and briefed about the link between CETP and CTP-KT 

After the welcome remarks Mr. Rashid Ahmad gave a presentation on the subject of “Accident Prevention”. This presentation was started at 2:15 PM and ended at 2:50 PM. After this presentation, a presentation on the subject of “Chemical Handling and Safety” was given by Mr. Ayaz Ahsan, Leather Technologist of CTP-KT. This presentation was started at 2:50 PM and ended at 3:45 PM.

Third presentation of the workshop was given on the subject of “First Aid “by Mr. Rashid Ahmad. This presentation was started at 3:45 PM and ended at 4:15 PM.

  

 A question answer (QA) session was started at 4:15 after these presentations and participants of the workshop raised questions regarding OH&S measures which were addressed by the CTP-KT team to satisfy the participants. The QA session was ended at 5:15 PM. The tea was served at 5:15 PM.

 After the presentations and QA session, feedback on the workshop was obtained from the participants, on prescribed feedback form. Feedback was received from total 50 participants out of 60. After receiving the feedback, completion certificates were awarded to the participants.
